Services Offered
Expert Restoration
Most broken pieces can be restored using our specialized process with an
ultraviolet-sensitive bonding agent that will not yellow over time. Our goal is
always to bring your treasured items as close as possible to mint condition.
•
Fixing cracks, chips, and breaks in crystal décor, tableware, and figurines.
•
Frame Restoration: Re-gluing, rejoining, refinishing, and aesthetic
restoration of picture frames that have fallen or sustained damage, using
appropriate techniques for both contemporary and antiques.
•
Small Wooden Structures Repair: Mending damaged parts, stabilizing,
and refinishing small furniture or decorative wooden items, regardless of
their age or style.
Personal Communication
At Crystal Repair, we believe in direct, personal service. We’re always happy
to speak with you by phone—whether you already own the piece, or you’re
simply considering having one repaired and want to know what costs to
expect. Your questions are always welcome.
When searching for repair services, there’s no “crystal ball” to reveal which
companies you can trust. But if there were—and it happened to break—you’d
want our team to restore it properly.
Photos & Estimates
You are welcome to send us detailed photos of your item before shipping, but
in many cases, a simple phone call describing the damage might be enough
for us to advise you on next steps.
Please note: if your item cannot be repaired, you will be responsible for
return shipping costs or we can dispose of it after an email confirmation from
you to that effect.
Payment Process
Once your repair is complete, we will email you a secure payment link.
Packing & Shipping Instructions
If you ship items to us, please take care to pack them securely. When
possible, use the original box. Add plenty of padding to prevent movement,
and pack tightly. For best protection, place the boxed item inside a slightly
larger outer box with more cushioning between the two layers. This double-
boxing method provides maximum safety during transit.

*Do Not Use UPS Damaged Shipment – Glass Sailboat
We are writing to express our extreme disappointment with the
handling of a recent shipment sent via UPS.
We had carefully repaired a heavy, expensive, and deeply
sentimental glass sailboat for our client. It was professionally
packed, with ample protection and clear warning labels on all
sides to indicate that it was fragile and of high value.
Despite these precautions, the parcel was left outside the gate
in the snow without any notice or attempt at safe delivery.
When the box was opened, our client found that the glass
sailboat was in a worse condition than when it had originally
been sent to us for repair.
This outcome is very upsetting for our client and for us as the
restoring party. Based on this experience, we strongly advise
against shipping such valuable and fragile items with UPS.
